Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Crust
Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
Combine crushed sugar cookies with melted butter in a medium bowl.
Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form an even crust.
Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool.
Step 2: Make the Filling
In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
Mix in the vanilla extract, sour cream, and heavy cream until fully combined.
Step 3: Add Festive Sprinkles
Gently fold in the holiday sprinkles to the cheesecake batter for a festive touch.
Step 4: Assemble and Bake
Pour the batter over the cooled crust and spread evenly.
Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
Step 5: Cool and Chill
Turn off the oven and allow the cheesecake to cool inside with the door slightly ajar for 1 hour.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Step 6: Garnish and Serve
Before serving, top with whipped cream and garnish with holiday sprinkles.
Notes
Room-temperature ingredients: Ensures a smooth filling without lumps.
Avoid overmixing: Overmixing can cause cracks in the cheesecake.
Line your pan: Use parchment paper to make it easier to remove the cheesecake.
