Description

Sticky Chicken Wings are oven-baked to crispy perfection and glazed with a sweet, savory honey garlic sauce. Perfect for game day, parties, or an easy weeknight meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lb chicken wings, split and tips removed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • Ranch or garlic dipping sauce (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking tray with foil and place a rack over it.
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Arrange wings in a single layer on the rack. Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  4. While wings bake, combine honey, soy sauce, melted butter, garlic, vinegar, and chili flakes in a saucepan. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Remove wings from oven, brush with glaze, and return to oven for 5–8 minutes until sticky and caramelized.
  6. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Use a rack to promote crispiness on all sides.
  • Pat wings thoroughly dry before seasoning.
  • Add more chili flakes or sriracha for extra heat.
  • Leftovers reheat well in the oven or air fryer.
  • Use gluten-free soy sauce for a GF version.
