A luxurious steakhouse-style surf and turf featuring garlic herb-seared lamb chops, creamy shrimp Alfredo pasta, and sautéed broccolini, ready in just 45 minutes—perfect for a gourmet dinner at home.


Ingredients

  • 4 lamb chops
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary or thyme, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 10 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 810 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 bunch broccolini
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Season lamb chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and chopped herbs. Let rest at room temperature.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet. Sear lamb chops for 3–4 minutes per side. Add butter, baste, and set aside to rest.
  3. Cook fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water and drain.
  4. In a skillet, melt butter. Sauté garlic until fragrant, add shrimp and cook until pink.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and simmer. Stir in Parmesan until smooth. Add pasta and toss to coat, loosening with pasta water as needed. Season and finish with parsley.
  6. Sauté broccolini in olive oil until tender-crisp and lightly charred. Season with salt.
  7. Plate Alfredo pasta, lamb chops, and broccolini. Serve hot with garnish of parsley and pepper.

Notes

  • Use fresh Parmesan for best texture in Alfredo sauce.
  • Don’t overcook the shrimp—they only need 1–2 minutes per side.
  • Let lamb chops rest before slicing to retain juices.
  • Add lemon zest or juice to broccolini for brightness.
  • Reserve pasta water to adjust Alfredo sauce consistency.
