Description

Sloppy Joe Mac and Cheese Wraps combine the bold, saucy flavors of classic sloppy joes with creamy mac and cheese, all wrapped in a golden, crispy tortilla. Perfect for quick dinners, game day, or family meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups cooked macaroni
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 6 large flour tortillas
  • Butter or oil for grilling

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, and sauté for 2–3 minutes.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Stir in ketchup, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until thickened.
  4. In a separate saucepan over low heat, mix cooked macaroni, milk, and shredded cheddar cheese until creamy.
  5. Lay tortillas flat. Add a scoop of mac and cheese, then a scoop of sloppy joe filling. Roll into burritos.
  6. Grill wraps in a skillet over medium heat with butter or oil until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  7. Serve hot. Slice in half if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add jalapeños or hot sauce.
  • Use gluten-free pasta and tortillas for a gluten-free version.
  • Make the fillings ahead and store separately for quick assembly.
  • For extra crisp, use a panini press or bake for a few extra minutes.
