Description

Sweet, smoky, and juicy Pineapple Brown Sugar Lil’ Smokies Bites slow-cooked to perfection with pineapple chunks and a sticky brown sugar glaze. An easy crowd-pleaser appetizer perfect for holidays, game days, or potlucks.


Ingredients

  • 2 packages (14 oz each) Lil’ Smokies sausages
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together brown sugar, pineapple juice, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper until smooth.
  2. Add Lil’ Smokies to a slow cooker and pour the glaze over them. Stir gently to coat evenly.
  3. Stir in pineapple chunks for added sweetness and texture.
  4. Cover and cook on Low for 4 hours or High for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  5. Serve warm with toothpicks. Keep on the warm setting if serving over time.
