- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 10–12 oz chocolate chips or chopped chocolate (half semi-sweet, half milk chocolate recommended)
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving overhang on the sides.
- In a bowl, mix peanut butter, melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
- Gradually add powdered sugar and stir until a thick, moldable dough forms.
- Press the mixture into the pan and smooth the surface to about ½ inch thick.
- Freeze for 20–30 minutes until firm.
- Use a tree-shaped cookie cutter to cut out shapes from the chilled dough.

- Melt the chocolate in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
- Dip each frozen tree into the melted chocolate, tap off excess, and place on a clean tray.

Notes
- Use a sharp metal cookie cutter for clean shapes.
- Only remove a few trees at a time from the freezer when dipping.
- Add 1 tsp coconut oil to the chocolate for a smoother coating.
- Sprinkle with festive toppings before the chocolate sets.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze for longer.
