Description

Soft, cheesy, and garlicky, this homemade Garlic Cottage Cheese Flatbread is quick and easy to make. Perfect as a side dish, snack, or pizza base.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  2. Add yogurt, cottage cheese, warm water, melted butter, and olive oil. Mix to form a soft dough.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 20 minutes.
  5. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions and roll each into a ball.
  6. Flatten each ball into a round, about 1/4 inch thick.
  7. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and lightly oil the surface.
  8. Place the flatbread on the skillet and cook until bubbles form, about 2 minutes.
  9. Flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
  10. Brush each flatbread with melted butter mixed with minced garlic and sprinkle with parsley and crumbled feta.
  11. Serve warm and enjoy!
