Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- Grate or cut the cold butter into small pieces, then use a pastry cutter or fingertips to rub the butter in until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gently fold in blueberries, taking care not to crush them.
- Pour in cold milk and stir gently until the dough just comes together; avoid overmixing.
- Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface, pat to about 1-inch thickness, and cut biscuits using a round cutter or glass rim.
- Place biscuits on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart, and bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown on top.
- While baking, make the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar, water, vanilla, and lemon juice until smooth.
- Let biscuits cool slightly, then drizzle generously with glaze before serving warm.
