- 8 lemons, juiced
- 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1.5 liters of cold water
- Optional: additional cucumber slices or lemon rounds for garnish
- Optional: mint leaves or ginger for flavor variation
Instructions
- Peel and chop the cucumber into medium pieces.
- Juice all 8 lemons, removing seeds.
- In a blender, combine cucumber chunks, lemon juice, and a splash of water. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the blended mixture through a fine sieve or cheesecloth.
- In a large pitcher, mix the strained liquid with 1.5 liters of cold water.
- Stir in sugar until fully dissolved (adjust sweetness to taste).
- Add ice cubes and garnish with cucumber or lemon slices before serving.
Notes
- To make without a blender, finely grate the cucumber and strain it after soaking in lemon juice.
- Replace sugar with honey, agave, or stevia for a healthier option.
- Chill the pitcher beforehand to keep the lemonade cold longer.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Add sparkling water for a fizzy version.
