Ingredients
Scale
½ cup melted butter
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup all-purpose flour
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup chocolate chips (optional)
4 tablespoons butter, softened
115 g cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Red icing
Green icing
Small round sprinkles
Star sprinkles
Instructions
Whisk melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth and glossy.
Add cocoa powder, flour, and salt; mix until a thick brownie batter forms.
Fold in chocolate chips if using.
Spread batter into a lined 9-inch round baking pan.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes, until set at the edges and fudgy in the center.
Cool brownies completely before decorating.
Beat softened butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy to make frosting.
Spread frosting evenly over cooled brownies.
Slice brownies into triangles to resemble Christmas trees.
Pipe red and green icing in zigzag lines to mimic garlands.
Add small round sprinkles as ornaments and top with a star sprinkle.
Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to enjoy.
Notes
Chill brownies before cutting for clean, sharp edges.
Decorate only after brownies are completely cool to prevent melting.
