Description
This Cheeseburger French Fry Bake is a cheesy, comforting casserole made with seasoned ground beef, crispy frozen fries, melted cheddar and mozzarella, and a burger-style sauce. It’s perfect for busy weeknights, potlucks, or family dinners.

- 2 lbs ground beef (80–85% lean)
- 1 bag (28–32 oz) frozen shoestring French fries
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise or burger sauce
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped pickles (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef with diced onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce (if using) until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Spread half of the frozen French fries in the bottom of the baking dish. Top with half of the cooked beef and drizzle with ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise.
- Layer the remaining fries and beef, then drizzle again with sauces. Sprinkle shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly on top.
- Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until the fries are golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped pickles and fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
