Description

This Beef Parmesan Tortellini in Creamy Sauce is a rich and comforting one-pan dinner made with tender chunks of beef chuck, cheese-filled tortellini, and a luscious garlic-Parmesan cream sauce. It’s the perfect weeknight meal that feels like a gourmet treat in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz of beef chuck, cubed
  • 12 oz of cheese tortellini, cooked according to package instructions
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/2 cup of diced onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of dried basil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef chuck, season with salt and pepper, and sear until browned on all sides (about 5–7 minutes). Remove from pan and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté for about 3 minutes until fragrant and translucent.
  3. Return beef to skillet. Stir in heavy cream, dried basil, and half the Parmesan cheese. Simmer for 4–5 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken.
  4. Add cooked tortellini to the skillet. Gently toss to coat in the creamy sauce. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
  5. Garnish with remaining Parmesan cheese and fresh chopped parsley. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use pre-cooked tortellini to save time.
  • For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
  • Substitute beef chuck with ground beef or chicken for variations.
  • Add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor and nutrition.
  • Don’t overcook the cream sauce—just simmer until thickened.
