Ingredients

Scale

For the Cheesecake Layers:

  • 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Cinnamon-Sugar Topping:

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

For the Finishing Touch:

  • ½ cup honey (for drizzling)

Optional Add-ins:

  • A pinch of nutmeg for extra warmth
  • Chopped pecans for crunch
  • A sprinkle of powdered sugar for extra sweetness

Instructions

Step1: Prepare Your Baking Dish

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step2: Create the Bottom Layer

Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it firmly into the bottom of the baking dish. Be sure to seal any seams to create a solid base.

Step3: Make the Cheesecake Filling

In a mixing bowl, beat together:
Cream cheese
1 cup sugar
Vanilla extract

Mix until smooth and creamy.

Step4: Assemble the Layers

Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the crescent roll dough. Then, unroll the second can of crescent dough and place it carefully on top. Gently press the edges to seal the layers together.

Step5: Add the Buttery Cinnamon-Sugar Topping

Pour the melted butter evenly over the top layer. In a small bowl, mix ¼ cup sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle it evenly over the buttered surface.

Step6: Bake Until Golden & Crispy

Bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is golden brown and puffed. The edges should be crispy, and the center should be set but slightly jiggly.

Step7: Drizzle with Honey & Cool

As soon as you remove the cheesecake from the oven, drizzle warm honey over the top for a rich, sweet finish. Let it cool before slicing.

Notes

Make use of cream cheese with full fat to get the smoothest texture.
Let it completely cool before cutting for straight cuts.
Warm leftovers a bit prior to serving them for the freshly baked taste.
