- 1/4 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 cup freshly chopped cilantro
- Juice of 1/2 fresh lime
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine whole tomatoes with their juice and Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies.
- Add chopped onion, minced garlic, and sliced jalapeño to the bowl.
- Sprinkle in sugar, salt, and ground cumin, and stir gently to combine.
- Fold in the chopped cilantro and squeeze in the lime juice. Mix again.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed by adding more lime juice, salt, or cilantro.
